Why fundraise for Brain Canada
Support brain research
Brain Canada plays a critical role in advancing brain research. Funds raised support groundbreaking studies aimed at better understanding the brain.
Make an impact
Neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and mental health conditions, affect millions of people. Contributions to Brain Canada can lead to better treatments and potentially cures, significantly impacting public health and improving quality of life.
A collaborative approach
As the only major funder in Canada dedicated solely to brain research, Brain Canada works with over 100 organizations, strengthening partnerships and fostering collaboration. Through these valuable collaborations, we amplify Canada’s brain research landscape.
Leverage funds
Brain Canada has the unique ability to leverage donations through the Canada Brain Research Fund, a matching program with the federal government. This means every dollar raised can have a multiplied impact.
Personal Connection
Many people have a personal connection to neurological disorders, either through their own experience or that of a loved one. Fundraising for Brain Canada can be a way to honour and support those affected by these conditions.
