Sofia Gentile, a Master’s Student at University of Toronto, is investigating the role of immune cell activation in a rare and fatal neurodegenerative disease called progressive supranuclear palsy. Sofia Gentile used the Dr. Hubert van Tol Travel Fellowship to attend the AD/PD™ 2026: International Conference on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases and related neurological disorders in Copenhagen, Denmark.
