Beatrice Acheson, a Master’s student at the University of Toronto, aims to explore how genetic variations in the TREM2 protein affects microglial activity and processes related to Alzheimer’s Disease. Beatrice used the Dr. Hubert van Tol Travel Fellowship to attend the AD/PD 2025 Advances in Science and Therapy conference in Vienna, Austria.
